Any more colours and or thickness soon available? I mean, will you match your existing Burgundy and Purple colours to keep the aestetics in my Studio as I have several of them already? Also, are they any good for ceilings? Would support its own weight with the adhesive? Thanks :)

I just cain’t imagine your foam based bass traps (no matter how dense) possesses the mass to be effective in challenging the low end.

Almost the entire first half was a pointless off topic waste of time showing them shopping and painting a room. They spent more time on painting than any one of their actual products.

Hey @auralexacoustics I noticed you used tape or command strips, can you tell me which one exactly? I heard some tapes don't adhere that well so would like to get the same ones for my roominator kit

I bought the strongest most expensive double sided tape in the hardware store and it still falls off. Any other tips for putting up the bass traps?

Great video, very helpful! Any reason why you didn't put an "air space" between the wall and the panel? I'm seeing some RUclips videos where they place an airgap that is the same distance as the thickness of the panel. Thanks.

To mount the pro-panels on ceiling applications Auralex makes a cloud clip. Which actually screws into the panel with an eye-loop to attach chain,cable etc and establish desired elevation

What a frustrating video. Different hand clap sound every time. Not enough time spent in each condition. No control condition (untreated or no diffusion). I have to wonder why you'd even bother. For exactly zero extra expense and a little forethought you could have made a useful demo. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the information Terry. I put acoustic foam in my 16yo boys room cause he's always playing online late at night with his headset on and screaming all the time waking everyone up. I only used a cheap acoustic foam but the difference is remarkable 👌🏼👍🏼

Excellent video with clear, well-explained instructions and demonstration. Unfortunately, the product doesn't work. I purchased 4 Auralex corner bass traps and mounted them with Foamtak Adhesive, following Terry's instructions to the letter, including spraying both the trap and the wall for "a more permanent bond". Within a few months, all the traps fell down. I've since found a solution using corner brackets used for making tables, and mounted them snugly under the bottom of each trap.

This is all well and good but how come they don't make white acoustic foam that doesn't yellow? No one has black walls after all

Wondering if foam panels work for me. I do video work. I need a plane wall behind me and my desk faces a window. Most of the noise I want to eliminate comes from the street. The windows are directly in front of my desk and I live in an apartment. Would panels work and if so, where would I stick them?

Hello, just ordered 4 lenrd bass traps for the top corners of my tracking room. I have top molding 2 inches from the ceiling. Do I need to install them flush to the ceiling or below the molding? If flush, I’ll need to trim them to fit. Any advice appreciated

What if I can afford to get enough panel to cover most of the side walls. Can I do that ? My little studio has a V-shaped ceiling. So, I need to get as much absorption as possible. Can I cover most of the wall or do I need to leave gaps ?

Is it better to just cover the whole room in these things ?
